These Are the Prices of the Renault Espace 2019: New Engines and More Equipment

The 2019 Renault Espace arrives in Spain with a revised engine range. The French MPV competes with models such as the Citroën C4 Picasso, SEAT Alhambra and Ford S-Max.

Engines and transmissions

The sole petrol option is a 1.8 TCe engine producing 225 hp. It is related to the engine used in the Alpine A110, although tuned to a lower output.

Diesel customers can choose a 2.0 Blue dCi engine with either 160 or 200 hp. The 225 hp petrol engine and 200 hp diesel are paired with a six-speed EDC dual-clutch automatic transmission. The 160 hp diesel uses a six-speed manual gearbox.

Prices in Spain

Prices start at €38,250 for the Renault Espace 2.0 Blue dCi 160 Intens. The range reaches €51,600 for the 2.0 Blue dCi 200 Initiale Paris.

Equipment levels

Renault offers three equipment levels:

• Intens: Standard equipment includes full-LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control and a multimedia system with an 8.7-inch touchscreen. This trim is available only with the 160 hp 2.0 Blue dCi engine.
• Limited: Adds features including lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, speed-limit alerts with traffic-sign recognition, following-distance alerts and tinted windows.
• Initiale Paris: The range-topping equipment level.
